I was lucky to participate in the Knox County Democratic Women’s Forum last Tuesday, October 2, 2012. We had a very good discussion on school funding, which, as you know, I think is the number one issue in this state, and my opponent continues to advocate a wait and see attitude even though our children’s futures are at stake.
We also discussed fracking and I continued to push for immediate solutions rather than delaying any further regulation and possibly jeopardizing our public health.
I urge you to read this and share with your friends the lackluster attitude of the current General Assembly and the need to bring in voices that will not be put down in the presence of adversity. I stand ready to make sure that you are heard in Columbus.
